Welcome to Plurk Skins where I'll attempt to teach your Plurk Creature new tricks.  I've set up this site to begin documenting the various aspects of the "Insanely Great" social media service Plurk.  For those of you unaware of this incredible site; it is a micro-blogging service that provides conversational threads for communicating with your friends.  I happened across this site in June and immediately became hooked.  I've met some incredible people and learned a tremendous amount.  The service is available world-wide and gives you an opportunity to meet people with similar interests as yours.  I've become great friends with people from Austria. Australia, Great Britain, Canada, and many other areas of the world.  The system is run by a great set of developers who are meaningfully connected to the community.  As such they are constantly coming out with new features to make the user experience even better.
Recently they provided the ability for users to modify the Cascading Style Sheets for their profile to allow users the ability to personalize their Plurk space.  This of course has introduced an entire subculture of graphic artists and programming geeks who are extending the system in ways no one expected.  This site will be a repository of posts that attempt to document the CSS code I have used to modify my own personal Plurk profile.  I am also creating a few ready-made themes or skins that I will also post here with zip files of the graphic files you can use for your own profile.  Feel free to ask any questions you might have.  I might not know the answer but I'd be happy to journey along with you to try and discover new and exciting ways to modify Plurk profiles.  If you'd like to fan my time line I'll try to Plurk a link when I add a post to this site.
